That is right, we made it another year! I know I post this picture every year, but I like people to know at one time I had a waist :) I think I am going to have to start referring to this picture as "the one time I was skinny!"
ANYWAY....We had an amazing anniversary. Barrett's parents were here, so they treated us to a night on the town. The best part? THEY took the kids to Chuck E Cheese!! I told both kids that only Grandma and Grandpa's can take kids there. We will see how long that lasts :)
We had a great night. We went to dinner AND a movie. I know, we are officially parents when dinner and a move is a "long" night out! We saw the proposal and it was VERY funny. It has been the first movie in a long time I have really liked.

We loved Chuck E Cheese! The kids played until they dropped. But I know there were moms and dads there, too. Just ask Morgan. Loved our visit so much.
I heard that there was a little of a breakdown when mom and dad left.. with mom, dad and the kids. :) glad you had a good anniversary!
You are still gorgeous silly Chantel! Happy Anniversary! I was thinking about you....we were so close to getting married on the same day.... Doesn't it seem longer than 8 years sometimes? Think of all we have packed into 8 years....yikes. Congratulations to you 2 lovebirds! Glad you had a LONG evening....the good kind of long. ;)

good luck on the Chuck E Cheese thing- I had Natalie convinced that they were only far away and then she spotted one off the freeway in Layton. Happy late anniversary- dinner and a movie is TOTALLY acceptable as a date :).
We just did our 8th too! Ahhh.. remember the 1st in Logan when my husband was cheap and wouldn't take me to the anniversary inn which seemed so important at the time? Your did- twice I think! I just spent a half hr reading a lot of past blogs and can't believe how big your kids are compared to my last memory of them- 2 yrs ago. I'm SO not ready for Carter to go to kindergarten and know what you mean about being sad about them growing so fast. Good thing for pics and blogs to document their crazy growing abilities!
